Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Meets with Queensland Minister for Education and the Arts Hon John-Paul Langboek MP

On 3 June 2025, Chinese Consul-General in Brisbane Dr Ruan Zongze met with Queensland Minister for Education and the Arts Hon John-Paul Langboek MP at the Queensland Government Building and had friendly exchanges on educational cooperation and exchanges between China and Queensland. Consul Shi Wenhua was present.

Dr Ruan said that the educational collaboration between China and Queensland has a solid foundation. The Consulate-General will be supportive as always to deepen educational cooperation and exchanges in both sides by all means of Lotus Language Prize, sister school relations, school principals visits and ect.

Minister Langboek stressed that Queensland values its educational collaboration with China, and is willing to supply a sound and safe environment and convenience for all international students including Chinese students in Queensland. The government will also push forward more frequent exchanges between the educational circles of China and Queensland.
